On March 25, 2020, the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO) issued a notice of extension of time to facilitate all parties experiencing challenges complying with their deadlines.
To ameliorate the business disruption being caused by COVID-19, JIPO has directed that all time limits expiring between March 18, 2020 and April 30, 2020 are now extended until Friday, May 1, 2020.
JIPO’s decision will be reviewed as becomes necessary and in accordance with the Government of Jamaica’s COVID-19 updates and directions.
