
Gisele was admitted to practice in 2004. She graduated from the University of Greenwich having obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours and thereafter from the Norman Manley Law School where she obtained a Legal Education Certificate.
Upon joining our Firm in July of 2004, Gisele became a member of the Wills, Estate Planning, Probate and Administration of Estates Department where she has gained extensive experience in clearly and patiently advising her clients at all stages in the probate and administration process.
Gisele is also a member of our Firm’s Conveyancing Department and not only has conduct of acquisition and disposal of real estate on behalf of individuals and companies but also drafts and negotiates commercial and residential leases and has conduct of both contested and uncontested applications to modify restrictive covenants.
In addition, the breadth of Gisele’s conveyancing practice includes Mortgage Conveyancing. She routinely acts on behalf of the island’s leading lending institutions in the preparation and completion of mortgage documentation, discharge of mortgages, sales under the mortgagee’s power of sale, both at public auction and private treaty, and in applications by mortgagees for orders for foreclosure.
Gisele is a tutor, in Conveyancing, at the Norman Manley Law School. She is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and the Social Affairs Committee of the Jamaican Bar Association.
