Monique joined the firm in 2018 as a member of its Litigation Department. She practices in general civil and commercial litigation matters including property disputes, contractual disputes, and personal injury.
Monique was admitted to practise in Jamaica in December 2018. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree with first class honours. In 2018, she obtained a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School where she graduated as a member of the Principal’s Honour Roll and received several awards, including the Keith Stanford Sobion Memorial prize and the Harneys Westwood and Riegels PP, BVI, prize for academic excellence. Throughout her studies she held executive positions on student bodies, maintained active membership with multiple student committees and participated in a variety of student and charity activities.
