Angela was admitted to practice in Jamaica in October 1975. She graduated from the University of the West Indies having obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree.
Angela joined the Firm in October 1975. She has been Partner from July 1, 1977 to date and was the Managing Partner from January 1, 1985 to December 31, 2006 and Senior Partner since January 1, 2014. She has practiced in the area of pensions from 1977 and is advisor to the sponsors and trustees of several funds and retirement schemes in Jamaica. She also practices in the areas of taxation and commercial law.
Angela is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association, International Pension and Employee Benefit Lawyers Association and is the Firm’s representative to the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica. She sits on the Board of Directors of: Partnership Consultants Limited, Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited, The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited and Scotia Group Jamaica Limited.
